A Little Bit of History..

Welcome, here we are kicking off our website, still under development as we figure this out, but we wanted to get our journey started. None of this will be polished, but then our journey to where we are and are planning on going isn't very polished either.

This adventure started like many people's newly found hobbies, plans, etc., while watching a lot of other people's lives on YouTube during covid. We had been following Gone with the Wynn's in all of their RV adventures and that had been our plan once we retired. We enjoy the outdoors, mountain biking, gravel riding, water sports, exploring, etc., but during covid we began watching sailors and specifically cruisers. We had a two sentence conversation about living on a boat that went something like this:

Robin: "Can you ever imagine living on a boat full time?"

Me (Stephanie): "Yes, but it would have to be a catamaran, I don't want to deal with the constant heeling of the boat."

And that conversation is literally the seed that has grown into where we find ourselves today. After countless hours of research, financial analysis, and determining what would work best for us, we put a deposit on a Seawind 1370 in October of 2020.

Here we are in June of 2024 still waiting for our boat, but getting closer every day, trying to get our lives in order to make the literal plunge in (hopefully) the Summer of 2025.
